ANIMAL FARM Animal Farm is an environmentally friendly farm that uses solar power for electricity, produces biogas for cooking and refrigeration, and practices organic farming techniques by using compost and animal manure in place of chemical fertilizers. Our main activity, however, is aviculture, the rearing and breeding of birds. We boast one of the widest collections of pheasant to be found in any aviary. 	APPLETON ESTATE RUM TOUR Appleton Estate Rum Tour gives the visitor an inside look at the rum making process. Visitors watch resident donkey Pax demonstrate how juice was extracted from sugar cane in the 18th Century. From there the tour takes visitors to the destillery and aging house where the different methods of distillation are shown. Visitors are able to juice their own cane, sample white rum and boil wet sugar.
