For those who are serious about their African Studies, this is a must read. Cheikh Anta Diop’s book serves as a guide for African Anthropology and in many regards African Archaeology as well. I’ve found Dr Diop’s books to be the foundation on which to judge other books. Especially when it comes down to the richness of African contributions to the world. Most have referenced his books in one form or another but could not write the same information within their books with the same passion or in the same manner as Dr Diop. This book is truly a masterful work.
